Porshi is a singer of new generation.She Is now in Class ten of Cambrian School. Her first singing teacher was Ostad Niaz Mamun. Now she is learning classical from ostad Anup Barua. From her childhood she always likes to learn singing, dancing, Art etc she had been growing up under the guidance of her grandma. Her Singing inspiration was her grandma. till now she inspiring her. On 2008 she participated in talent hunt show named “channel I khude gaan raaj” by the inspiration of her grand ma and ostad Niaz Mamun. That time she was in class six. In that reality show main judges were kumar Bishwajit and Samina Chowdhury. Porshi selected as the voice of the day two times in that show. Most importantly she was never be in danger zone. In that program’s every road individually were so memorable for her because in every round there were more guest judges. Always they appreciated her with good comments. Specially after heard the song “Keu konodin amare to kotha dilo na” legendary Amjad hossain. told her that “After a long time I am hearing this song and again getting emotional. May Allah bless you but I have a request to you, when I will not exist in this world then you will sing this song for me.”
Like this comments and advices she has managed to be 2nd runner up. After that, she turning out to be a famous singer of Bangladesh day by day. She released her first solo album “Porshi” on 2010 which was turning out to be a huge hit. In that album songs like “LOJJA” and “TOMARI POROSH” are loved by thousands all over the country and also internationally. In the year 2012 she release her 2nd Solo album “Porshi 2” which was already appreciated by all. She also worked on some mixed albums,did a lot of play-backs and jingles Now She has been performing all over the country and captivating audience with her charming personality, ability to connect to audience instantly and above all her musical ability. Porshi also did a lot of international tours where she performed in her own style.
