Movie to book: Satyagraha

Satyagraha, total title is ‘Satyagraha – Democracy under Fire’ is a forth coming in Bollywood. It is directed by Prakash Jha which is analyzing and reflecting the current India and its political, economic and social perspective. Although a first look got released in 2012, the final form is expected to get released in this year. Recently Prakash Jha decided to convert his movie into book. This is an uncommon and reciprocal indecent since usually books are seen to converted into film script and later into movie. But, this script worth this conversion since it is some kind of special movie and its script is too much significant. The Satyagraha is an Indian movie based on the socio-political circumstance of India. 

The film making is still undergoing, however, during this time the director has taken this decision. The process of conversion is going on and hopefully this book is scheduled to get release after

one week of the movie release. This movie is a co-production of UTV motion picture along with Prakash Jha Production; it is a synthesis of India’s current perspective of sociology and politics. Starred by all legendary Bollywood actors and actresses such as Amitav Baccha, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay devgn, Majoj Bajpayee, Amrita Rao and many other stars. This movie has been scheduled to release in next August, 2013.

Here, the Kareena is a correspondent for an internal television channel. Amitabh Bacchan is the social activist named as Anna Hazare who will play in Bhopal and Delhi. The news studio is about to set in Bhopal.  The story line is somewhat like that, Ralegan siddhi, the village of Anna Hazare is a small village within Maharashtra. Amitabh Baccha, here the Anna Hazare plays in a figure who is a believer of justice and truth following the way Mahatma Gandhi did. Contrary, Ajay is a new young businessman who shows and sees the dream of new rich and modern India. Manoj is a politician who wants to break the current political system of India. Instead of its exciting and curious story, it has been facing few controversy and criticism. 

This movie is important not because of the script, prominent directory, stars or script to book incident, this is important because it is the analysis of India’s current real political situation as well as shows overall image. This makes a clear and concise idea between wrong and right conception of India’s society, politics, finance and overall structure. So, converting the book would be a great effort. This is because movies are only of maximum 2 to 3 hours where everything can’t be presented and even visualized which is much easy to represent in the books. So, this is time to wait for two releases as the movie and the book!
